Holiday Gigs are Almost Here!

Wreath

We’re playing two holiday gigs over the next two weeks. First up on December 2nd is a return to the APL Winter Festival. We’ll be playing from 2-3 pm in the Dining Area stage. Stick around after lunch for some holiday tunes. Richard Boales will be subbing on alto sax, soprano sax, and clarinet.

On Tuesday December 12th, we’ll be playing two sets at Brookside Gardens “Garden of Lights” from 6-8:30pm. Come down to see the light display, and stop on by to hear some jazz and have some refreshments.

Reminder: CEFJ+Scats Concert

Elephant

Just a reminder that we’ll be playing with the APL Scats in a concert at APL next Saturday night, July 29, in Parsons Auditorium starting at 7:30pm. You won’t want to miss this one! We’ll be backing the Scats on five songs, plus opening the second set with three “Post-Modern Bop” tunes from Dexter Gordon, Lee Morgan, and Horace Silver. Stay afterwards for light refreshments and a chance to talk with the performers. Hope to see you there!

[Note our Gigs Calendar had us listed at APL Family Visit Day on August 2, but that gig fell through. We’re playing the weekend before Family Visit Day with the Scats. Sorry for the confusion.]
